My Experiences in Computer Science 1: Dormitories

To study in Pisay means to live in Dormitories.

When my mom came home one afternoon from Philippine Science High School- Bicol Region Campus, she had both bad and good news.

And because when I was little, I was a fan of fairy tales which has happy endings, I told her to spread the bad news first before the good one.

The bad news was there were no more available rooms for grade 7 students.

However, the good news was I will not stay alone in a room thinking of horror stories because I will be staying with higher graders who are good in class!

The Dormitory Manager told my mom that my roommates are nice and performs well in class. This story made me more excited to meet them!

June 22, 2014 was the day we went to school. We had an orientation at the auditorium first then we proceeded to the dorms. My room number was 103 which means it's on the first floor.

When my mother opened the door, smiles welcomed us.

Here is a picture of me with my 'ates'.

Let me introduce them to you.
From the left most was ate Diane Joy Palacio. She competed in a Robotics Competition and now a 4th year student. She lives in Camarines Norte. Ate Diane came from the class of Electron and a Director's Lister. There was a time that I needed a copy of the school's pledge and hymns and I asked her if she has. She doesn't have any but volunteered to make me one. That's very nice of her to do something for me.
Next to ate Diane was me.
Third from the left was ate Patricia Renee "Tricia" Sarmiento. She come from Lucena. She's from 4-Graviton. Ate Tricia is a silent-type of person but she's kind. There were times that my things accidentally fell from the upper bank of the double deck (because I was assigned to the upper part and she on the lower part) and she will pick it up and put it on my bed. She seldom talks but you can see that she's nice through her simple gestures.
Lastly, ate Kaira Danielle Lubis. She's very kind and friendly to all. When she's not busy studying, she always joins me on breakfast and lunch. She shared some stories of her to me. Ate Kaira was the one who introduced more about Pisay to me. She told me her experiences here in this school. Among them three, she's my closest! She come from Mindoro. She is also a Director's Lister and a 9-Platinum.

I was lucky that I was assigned to Room 103 with them. I thank them for being patient with me. They are always ready to help me- whether it is about Computer Science 1 or other subjects!

There are still more things that they made for me. That's why Ate Diane, Ate Tricia and Ate Kaira, thank you! Thank you for helping me adjust in Pisay. You are the first ones I met! Thank you for everything you've done for me. Thank you for simply being you! I've never get tired saying 'Thank you' to you.

Room 103 Rocks \m/!
